Chalk paint kitchens look fabulous lasts years and can be easily updated. There must have been something on them though they looked just like the others. Annie sloan demonstrates how to paint laminate kitchen cabinets and update the heart of your home for a fraction of the cost of a kitchen refit. It has no pink or yellow in it so you can use it to lighten any of the other chalk paint colour and create the exact tone for your room.

How do you do a white wash with annie sloan chalk paint. Leave to dry before painting a second coat of chalk paint. She painted all the cabinets the shelves chairs and table using just two coats of chalk paint in old white and then distressing heavily around the edges especially on the table to give a worn rustic feel. The whole thing is finished with clear wax to protect.
You can roll the paint on but i felt like brushing it on gave me a better result. This is an update on what they look like how they ve held up and how i keep them clean.
