Installing Kitchen Cabinets Over Baseboard Heaters

Kitchen is small and under the windows is baseboard heating.
There is litterally baseboard everywhere in this house haha. I drew a rough diagram to help illustrate for you guys. I want to install kitchen cabinets on the window side and integrate the baseboard heating to be heating efficiently and look good. No matter what height you install a heater you must follow the manufacturer s clearance requirements.
I m taking care of that first since the vent and baseboard is set back behind the bench. Most baseboard heaters need at least 12 inches between the heater unit and any combustible material such as drapes or furniture. Realised we could simply use wall cabinet boxes but hung at worktop height selecting a cabinet size which would sit above the baseboard heater. I don t like laying on the floor so i can see what i m doing while trying to nail things into place.
What i am thinking of doing is installing two 24 base cabinets in the center of that run of counters. Before installing the bookcase normally remove the baseboard heater from the wall. We would have put some feet on the cabinets for aesthetic reasons and then mounted the. Work in progress built in shelving unit over baseboard heating. The other baseboard in the room is about 5 and half. If you are putting a baseboard directly on your cabinet or bench you ll install the cabinet and then add your base with vent.
